American Girl Maryellen Photo Shoot
As many of you already know, Maryellen has joined our family. What better way to celebrate her and her collection than by doing a photo shoot? It was a lot of fun, a lot of work, and a lot of time! Maryellen was so excited to try on each of her outfits for this photo shoot! It was good for us to see how each piece worked for her and what our favorites are. I hope that by sharing this you can get a better idea of what each piece looks like on the doll. A review of an item is great, but actually seeing how it fits on a doll is better in my opinion! We did not set up any scenes for her yet, we wanted the pictures to be clear of anything distracting. The focus is suppose to be on the item in the shot.

I purchased our Maryellen on opening day in the Los Angeles, CA store. I was very disappointed. Only one jukebox display and no TV console displays. I don’t think they had TV give away like other stores. Thank you for the youtube.

Our store in Cols. Ohio opened an hour early if you made a reservation. We went and it was a nice way to see the new collection. Even though they had 4-5 diner displays they did not have any diners to sell!! We were able to order it at the store and get free shipping. They did not even have displays of the TV console!! They said that a truck might have them tomorrow.
We ordered the diner, bought Cherry play outfit – adorable!! (but wish that the pockets were real. We bought the jukebox which I love – I like that the songs are not random, you pick the letter and number for the song you want!

I love the hairstyling set. The curlers are so cute, and I haven’t seen anything like it. Seeing ME in the outfits makes it easier to decide what you like. It’s the next best thing to being at an AG store and seeing the displays! Thanks Rudy!
