DIY American Girl Doll Corner Display Stand
DIY American Girl Doll Corner Display Stand
I have been wanting to make a doll display ever since I saw American Girl show theirs on a Facebook live video. The displays were adorable and when their video aired several people messages me requesting I make some. I’m excited to share the first and probably easiest one with you, Julie Albright’s corner display. The display is made entirely of foam board and it is very sturdy. I love these displays for the dolls because you can really make them match the personality and story of the character. You can even extend some of the ideas of this corner display and make it into a full corner room. Have fun!

Flo meant your little because we’re kids and she’s an adult. I’m thirteen too but I think you guys need to have little more respect.
November 24, 2017 at 9:21 am –
Wow! Crafter you comments toward Flo were despicable! How could you talk to an adult like that! She is right you know. Your replays have been pretty rude. I think you should apologize to Flo and Rudy.

What is the difference between the Logan Foamwerks straight/bevel cutter and the straight edge cutter?
November 20, 2017 at 9:41 pm –
The straight/bevel cutter does not hook into the guide rail.

Flo I’m sorry if you feel I am being disrespectful.

Flo I didn’t call you mean. And we are not the only people who ask for things. I am not little I am thirteen.

Bookfanatic102, I think you need to step back and read the whole conversation before you start accusing anyone of being mean. I didn’t call her out until she mentioned my name specifically. I think the two of you are very young, and need to perhaps take some time to think about how what you say can be very hurtful. She threw the first stone by being rude to Rudy in the first place. Some people might even call what she did being a bully. Both of you tend to act a bit like Veruca Salt in your comments on this blog by demanding she do certain crafts all the time. I am an adult, old enough to probably be your mom or even your grandmother, and the lack of respect that either of you give the adults on this blog is terrible. Rudy doesn’t deserve those kinds of comments.
I also suggest that if you think I’m the only person who thinks this way, go to my blog and read this post on my blog. Be sure to read the comments. I wrote this several months ago. https://sayhellotomylittlefriends.wordpress.com/2017/09/09/dont-be-rude/

Flo sorry, my last comment was kinda mean.
November 15, 2017 at 4:53 am –
Flo I’m not trying to be mean or anything but calling #crafter out publicly is also uncalled for.
November 15, 2017 at 3:19 am –
Excuse me #crafter, but just because you have been asking for 11 months doesn’t give you any kind of excuse for your rude behavior. I suggest you go ahead and unsubscribe and go create your own blog, and maybe then you’ll understand where I am coming from. No one makes you come here and read and I’m not the only one that thinks your comments are uncalled for. I’m just the only one who has called you out on it publicly.

I think sometimes people post things here without thinking about how it might make someone feel. Rudy works very hard to come up with great ideas. Some work for some people and not for others, but I think some people here need to realize that blogging is A TON of work. There are only so many hours in a day, and most bloggers are juggling a lot of different things at any given time. Being critical in this case is not only very hurtful, but in some situations could make someone just say they don’t want to bother at all anymore.
I highly suggest that before someone else starts criticizing Rudy or any other bloggers for what they are doing, perhaps they need to take a step back and think about it. Especially if you aren’t a blogger yourself. You have NO idea how much work is involved, and Rudy goes above and beyond the call of duty to not only come up with great projects, but includes details that I don’t see many other people coming up with.

Wow! I love this corner display! The attention and detail you put into the design and instructions…very professional and easy to follow.
Thank you for this wonderful DIY project!

Flo your right what I said in my comment was wrong, I just have been not interested in the crafts lately.
November 14, 2017 at 11:41 am –
I’m sorry, but I just have to say something here. I am absolutely appalled at the behavior of a few people here, and you know who you are. Threatening to unsubscribe and make nasty comments is just incredibly rude. Rudy does her best on this blog to create fun and interesting projects for others to make. Plus she is a busy mom with children to take care of and a house to maintain. Just because you may not like the crafts she comes up with doesn’t mean that someone else doesn’t. Acting like a spoiled brat is wrong. You should be completely embarrassed by your childish behavior. Go sit in the corner!

I have a problem. I love my dolls but I never play with them anymore and they just take up space now. But i’m not ready to let them go. I have grown out of playing with dolls but I still like my dolls and don’t want to get rid of them and all the stuff i’ve made for them (Thanks Rudy). They just sit in the attic now. What do I do?

Rudy – I love your crafts and have made many of them for my grand-daughter. I especially love the new corner rooms!! I made a bedroom in gray for her OG doll and am starting on a kitchen one now using foam board. I haven’t posted a pic yet of the bedroom – haven’t found a spot where I can do that, but I’ll keep looking. I’d love to share with you.

I already watch myfroggystuff. And I go on her blog too. She is really good. Rudy’s crafts focus more on 18″ Doll crafts while Froggy focus mainly on 12″ doll crafts.

Hi, Rudy. I love your videos, and was hoping you could make a GoGo Squeeze Applesauce, It would be so cute!
November 10, 2017 at 11:41 am –
Plus threatening to unsubscribe is just mean….

Rudy gets TONS of other requests. Were just going to have to wait until she makes it. No rush!
November 9, 2017 at 11:12 pm –
Hi Rudy, you always pick such great colors for your projects. Can you do us non-artists a favor, please? Can you make a printable of the funky foot rug you drew? There’s no way I can free-hand a foot the way you do. Thank you for all your hard work!

Can you do a craft that we want to make?
November 9, 2017 at 2:23 pm –
This is really cool rudy, sometimes my dolls fall over or knock each other over when I’m not playing with them because I just have them standing there.
Also, I think it would be cool if you made doll t.v’s.
My dolls have their Xbox, but no screen to play on. ?
November 9, 2017 at 1:27 pm –
It is so useful when your not using your dolls and it’s so cute with the extra details your crafts are amazing!
November 9, 2017 at 9:49 am –
Awesome!! This is soooooooooooo cool! Great Job! Do you think you could do one for Isabelle ( thats my doll)!
November 8, 2017 at 6:49 pm –
Very nice, what a great place to store a doll when not being played with. Thank you Rudy for all the time you put into creating and sharing all of these fun crafts.

Hi Rudy this was super cute and we can’t wait for more and my girls were wondering if u could craft a doll essential oil diffuser and essential oils and another request was a doll Bible and hymnal. Thanks so much as we always enjoy all your crafts!
