American Girl Doll DIY Christmas Tree
Our American Girl Doll DIY Christmas Tree is so easy to make. It’s quick and fun too. Kids of all ages can do this and no matter what type of ornaments you craft for it, it will look amazing! Of course you can get a Target $3 color tree or a pre-made tree at a craft store about the same size, but where’s the fun in that? This craft used around $4 in materials plus things we already had on hand like ribbon, paint, glitter and pasta. It’s worth it for the fun!
Materials Needed:
- Tree Branch Pipe Cleaners
- Stick 18-20″
- Hot Glue
- Base *We used an empty ribbon spool
- Bow Tie Pasta
- Ribbon
- Scrap Fabric *We used an old Christmas dress
- Needle & Thread
Watch and tell us how you decorated your tree this year!
We have family ornaments from great grandparents through the years. and traditional ornaments like balls and hallmark ornaments
I love the mini Nativity scene…where did you find that?? It is a great item?
I love your chanell I have used every video and sometimes I come up with my own crafts ? I put sparkly ornaments on mine ?
Finally! I can’t wait to set this up for my dolls
Finally! I can’t wait to make this
Finally! I can’t wait to set this up
CUTE!!! Now all my dolls need is a fireplace and hot cocoa
It looks great. I’ll have to see about finding some of those pipe cleaners. I completely agree that spending a little more to make a craft then buy pre-made is worth it. Who can put a price on fun with your children?
Next week my son and I will be making your candy sleighs from November last year to use as ornaments on our family tree.
Enjoy your holidays! And thank you for all the great ideas.
Cute! We haven’t set up our tree yet, but my dolls have!

my tree has some (for me) has a bunch of diy ornaments, some ornaments from some of my relatives trips to other countries, some that my mom had from when she was little, and my brother and me’s first ornaments. We also have a ton of lights and a star on top.
