I hope everyone has received the new American Girl Catalog in the mail! It is an awesome Holiday catalog! There are a few changes in the layout and how the doll scenes are set up. For one, the dolls are no longer posed just in their collection(it was only one page). They are mixed and matched! I know for some people this will drive them crazy, but when my kids looked through the catalog, they loved it! My girls also loved seeing the fan made photos, girl created collections and others outside of American Girl being featured.
Probably the most exciting part of the magazine for us, was the centerfold feature! Why? We were in it! That’s right! American Girl Ideas was featured in the Holiday issue. They used our Instagram name which is american.girl.ideas
If you haven’t followed us on Instagram yet, be sure to do so! We like to give sneak peeks there along with occasional fun non AG related pictures. We also do votes for upcoming crafts. We might even do Instagram only giveaways in the future!
Also, BIG shout out to other American Girl fans that were mentioned in the Holiday issue!

Congratulations on the AG shout out! This is well deserved! BTW did you receive a 20% coupon in your catalog? I didn’t but a friend said she did.

Congratulations! It’s not just us that think you are fantastic….now AG recognizes you too! With Grace’s French Bakery selling out, I think you should re-post your bakery building plans. If people need inspiration, feel free to use the pictures of our completed bakery.
