Last week we made doll sweet tea in preparation for this picnic set. When we reviewed Tenney’s Picnic set, we knew we would have to craft it! It’s a great set, but for the price I would have loved a picnic for two. Not one! This craft gives you the option to expand Tenney’s set. Not only by making it a picnic for two, but for an entire group! You could even set up a Hot Chicken Stand. So many fun options.
Materials Needed:
- Hot Chicken Takeout Box **Print on brown card stock
- Menus
- 2 Menus, 4 Labels, 4 Trays
- 1 Menu, 6 Trays, 4 Labels,
- Georgia’s Hot Chicken Menu <<The one shown in video>>1 menu, 1 sign, 4 labels, 6 trays
- Clay of Choice
- Craft Paint
- Perler Beads
- Puffy Paint
- Sweet Tea from previous craft

This set is awesome! I made the box and the macaroni as well as the potato salad in the other tutorial, and they all turned out terrific. Not an expensive craft either, and luckily for me the only thing I didn’t have on hand were the beads. Great job!

If you do not have perler beads for the potato salad, cut up straws that come with juice boxes/bags. We cut up yellow straws and put in a small jar to look like macaroni pasta in our doll kitchen.

This is soooo cute! I dont have brown cardstock, but I had spray paint of the correct color and painted the white card stock. Not yet sure if it will work, but will give it a try. And Rudy, yes yes yes, craft the yummy potato salad. Would you believe my mouth watered when I saw the mac and cheese?LOL
