DIY American Girl Doll Food Spam

Since Nanea’s store front was shown in the sneak peek video from American Girl, everyone has been going crazy over the little Spam cans! I have to admit I’ve never tried Spam, but the cans for the dolls are adorable. These are perfect to add to your doll grocery store or to just put away in the pantry. I know we need to add a lot more canned foods. Do you have any requests? Maybe canned pineapples for Nanea also. Leave a comment below!

    Thank you all for the help with the can size for the spam. Now I’ll make a few! I noticed in the store today that they have Jalepeno Spam! I remember eating fried spam sandwiches when I was a kid. Maybe I’ll try the jalepeno spam someday.

    I found that a nine volt battery works just about perfect to use to wrap the paper around for the spam cans.

    This is adorable!! And by the way Mommyof1 I think you have a great idea!!! I’m really exited for the solar eclipse,my whole school is watching it!! Also Rudy I think u should make doll can soup or cup-o-noodles!! And one more thing it would be rrreeeeaaaalllllyyyyyy cute if you could make the blind boxes “worlds smallest” for dolls!! Then they would really have the worlds smallest!!????

    how wide would you say your spam cans are?

      Hey Terri! The cans are 3/4″ wide and 1 2/16″ long. 1″ tall.

    This is really cute! I really like making doll food but I usually use polymer clay instead of model magic or papier-mâché because I already use it for my Etsy shop items.

    Too cute! This will be awesome for Kanani too! We’d love for our dolls to watch the solar eclipse with us Monday, have you thought about making doll sized glasses for them to join in on the fun? ?
