So this isn’t a new craft we’ve come up with. I think it’s been done several times by a lot of doll crafters. The thing about some doll crafts is that a simple idea can be thought up by so many people without them ever knowing it’s been done before. That is why I like this craft. It is easy, fast, fun AND Launa is the one who came up with it! We first made these last year after my daughters birthday party because we had a lot of empty bubble bottles and we just couldn’t throw them away! Launa thought they looked just like some of our water bottles and we just needed to add a finishing touch. We never did a post on it and yesterday we got some of the Halloween bubbles from Target and they reminded me of the American Girl Water Bottles we have! So, I put together a quick little video in case you haven’t seen this done before.
*I also think these would be fun party favors! Have the kids play with the bubbles. After bubble time create the water bottle for their dolls to take home. Cute huh?! It would be cool to switch some of the tops around too so you have multicolored bottles. Maybe even add character stickers.
Materials Needed:
- Hot Glue Gun
- Pony Beads
- Mini Bubble Bottles
Watch & tell us if your dolls will love having cute water bottles on hand!
