American Girl Doll Deodorant Craft

After we did the review of the Our Generation Travel Set, several requests came in for deodorant! Sounds silly, but that was an important item missing from the set! It came with soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, but no deodorant! Thanks for the request and we hope you like the craft!

Materials Needed:

TIPS:

  • You don’t need the printable. You can use a small scrap piece of paper and draw your own label design. The printable is just there as an option.
  • Make sure you leave the top on the container when you close the open space with hot glue. Otherwise, you could risk making it the wrong shape and it wont fit the container.
  • For the deodorant you can use air dry clay, model magic, play doh, polymer clay, or even use the hot glue method we did for the Nutella and EOS.
  • When I added an extra strip for the container, I cut maybe an eight off the inch strip. This will give you a lip that the top will fit onto.

    Bwa ha ha!!!! Just imagine a doll the age of 9 or less needing roll on! That’s so funny. However like all things you make, it’s darling. I guess one could pretend it was for the MOTHER of the doll.

      Sports are pretty extreme where we live, even for young kids. Needless to say, my kids of age 7 & 8 both need deodorant when it’s time to play! Plus, it will look great in the doll bathroom! Also, Tenney and Logan are a bit older!

    I just finished mine!!! I even made it smell good by mixing white paint with essential oils to cover the hot glue I used for the deodorant part. It smelled like lemon ’cause I couldn’t find my lavender oil.
