We always love to share DIY American Girl Bakeries here, which is why I am excited about this post.  Back in January we posted plans for the American Girl Grace’s French Bakery and we did the plans as close to the AG version as possible.  That was hard because being a house full of American Girl ideas, crafts, and builds we could really see where some improvement could be made.  But, no worries, we have enjoyed seeing your versions with so many cool things added.  Our favorite tweak to the bakery so far has to be the roof top bistro!  It’s so cool and so needed!  An open roof just leaves wasted space.

Uniqua BeSweet has graciously shared their French Bakery project with us and provided some beautiful pictures. It is amazing!  Just gorgeous!  Please feel free to leave them comments with questions or just tell them what an amazing job they did!  WOW!

You can also check them out on their own Facebook Page, Unique BeSweet.

I’ve said it on Facebook and YouTube, but just want to say again here so as many people as possible see it – your bakery plans are AWESOME! The instructions were so easy to follow and after some secret work in the basement before Christmas, our daughters were thrilled to get Grace’s Patisserie for Christmas! (Lots of “what’s that noise? What’s daddy doing down there? Questions all month!!) And now that Christmas is finally over, we’re letting them watch your YouTube videos (didn’t want to risk them seeing the bakery video before they got it!) and they already have at least 10 crafts lined up that we have to do (the gum drops in the gingerbread house video is their favorite!). Just because 2015 is over and Grace is gone doesn’t mean you can’t have an amazing replication of her bakery! So thankful we found these plans, our girls have played with it non-stop the past week. This is how great our bakery turned out – https://youtu.be/o8rTB8CLsS8

I totally agree on the hole in the roof being wasted space.I always thought the AG one was little strange with no roof. But, better for play I guess. Could be so you can set stuff up without knocking other things over. I guess that could be nice for littler girls with shorter arms! But I still love the Roof-Top Bistro!

So cute! I love the idea of a Roof Top Bistro! Very clever @UniquaBeSweet!
I think a Roof could easily be added, and my dad would definitely know a way to add one. Hey Rudy, I have a problem: I got the wrong size Foam Board for the Ice Cream truck. I think the measurements are 18×24 or something really close to that. Not big enough…. What should I do? Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks! ~Olivia Wilson ?

You’ll have to get the bigger ones for it to work with my measurements. You can make the ones you got work, you will just have to adjust the plans and even then the dolls might not fit inside the truck.
