American Girl Bakery Reader DIY
American Girl Bakery Reader DIY
I am really excited to share this post with all of you! Cheryl and her husband made this amazing bakery and I love the finished results! The bakery plans are the same as mine and others you have already seen, but it’s the personal touches that make these DIY bakeries so fun and unique! I enjoy seeing people make their own modifications to the plans shared and when the project is over, the end result is worth all the hard work! Cheryl’s husband built the bakery and Cheryl herself did the interior design work. Cheryl and her husband make a great team huh?!
The door menus are chalk boards that can be found at Walmart and she wrote the menu with a white chalk board pen. So beautiful! Look at the Eiffel Towel wall decal in the back! Most of the foods you see are handmade or from various Etsy shops. I really like how she incorporated the OG Gourmet Kitchen into the bakery and added a matching backsplash to it. Very creative and it ties the two together perfectly.
***Please leave comments below for Cheryl with any questions you have about her version or to simply let her know how wonderful hers turned out!

This is awesome! It would be great to have a printable of the chalkboard menus (especially for those of us who do not have pretty writing). Does anyone know where to find such a thing?

Wow, nice job! I was wondering how the OG kitchen would look in the DIY version of Grace’s bakery. I had thought about building the DIY bakery and putting DD’s existing OG kitchen in it as it would save time and money. Now I don’t have to wonder anymore! It looks great ?
