Dr. Seuss Day Books
Dr. Seuss Day
In celebration of Dr. Seuss Day I have made some American Girl size book printables. After all, a childs book collection is not complete without Dr. Seuss! Are you wearing your comfy pajamas today and eating green eggs? Tell us what you are doing or did today to celebrate the memory of Dr. Seuss. My kids came home from school with all sorts of goodies. The Lorax mustache, a long tipsy red and white hat, and some fun facts about Dr. Seuss. He is one of our favorites in the house!
You can use the Dr. Seuess notebooks from Amazon and cover some with these printables, or you can make your own books with cardboard.
**Update**
There was a request for the Dr. Seuss Book sets to be smaller, so if you don’t like them as big as the Dr. Seuss Notebooks, you can print them smaller. The printables are below.
Dr. Seuss Day Fun Facts:
- Dr. Seuss’ real name is Theodor Geisel
- He was born over 100 years ago
- Dr. Seuss’ first book was And to Think That I saw it on Mulberry Street AND it was rejected by publishers over 20 times before it was picked up!
- Green Eggs and Ham contains only 50 words and was written on a bet!

I have posted two hair bow tutorials for the dolls. Is there a specific bow you are looking for? Boutique, pinwheel, flower, etc? Let me know and I will be happy to do another one if I haven’t already. I LOVE making bows!

I just printed it off and compared it with my other doll sized books and its perfect! I’m asoming part of it was for the slipcover. Do you think you could shrink the nancy drew books too?
March 3, 2015 at 12:14 pm –
Awesome! Yes, there is extra on each side so it can fold over. I can shrink all the books I made so far.

I just love your site! I’m trying to replicate your bakery and surprise my little cousin with it. Though I’m worried about finishing it in time. My main goal is to get the stove/oven and the display case done soon. I was just wondering when you will post the instructions for these two pieces.
March 2, 2015 at 4:37 pm –
I have already made the sketch for them. I was working on those two pieces this weekend so I would know where to place the hinges and such for instruction purposes. I am also still looking for a sink bowl. I hope to have them posted by this weekend.
