DIY American Girl Hamster Cage

I hate to say it but we are slowly getting ready for back to school time! That also means the dolls will get a few things for their classrooms. It was the perfect time to finally make a pet hamster for the dolls. They can keep the hamster cage in their bedroom or they can use it as a classroom pet. Either way this craft is simple and adorable! There are so many ways to recreate this so if you don’t have exactly what we used, look around to find recycled items that you do have on hand!

Materials Needed:

  • Baby Food Container
  • Craft or Spray Paint
  • 3mL Pipette
  • Tiny Bottle Cap
  • Dish Soap Cap or Similar
  • Scrap Paper or Tissue
  • Pom Poms
  • Tiny Seed Beads
