American Girl Games
American Girl Games
Have you sat down lately to play a board game with the family? In my house everyone loves to play games so of course our dolls need their very own American Girl games. Just last night and this morning we have played Pictureka a handful of times. It is a new addition and the kids love it because we can move the boards around so the images are never in the same spot.
For this tutorial I created a Candy Land game and a Sorry game. Both are fun and you can actually play the game with the dolls!
Materials Needed:
- Scissors
- Foam Sheets with adhesive back
- Game Pieces (I used the push pin magnets because they look just like the real game pieces)
- American Girl Sorry & Candy Land Printable
- AG Candy Land Cards
Step 1:
Cut out the game cards and the game board. Be sure to leave a margin around the game board.
Step 2:
Peel the back off of the foam sheet and attach the game board to it. If you have regular foam sheets you can just attach it using glue sticks.
Step3:
Now you can cut the game board to the edge so it aligns with the foam. You are ready to play! Don’t forget to shuffle the cards!

All printables when I print cut the bottom off. any ideas? I’ve tried the suggestion above, but it’s not working. Any way to have these print on separate pages instead of just one?

I’m not sure why the bottoms are cutting off. Maybe adjust it to print at 90%-95% in size.

Hi Rudy,
I just need a little help with printing out the Sorry game board. I do not get the whole board….missing the side of the red and green. Has anyone else had this problem ? If so , how do I correct it ?
Love , love ,love all your ideas……you are so blessed to be so creative and sharing it with the rest of us.

Your printer settings are set to something custom. Before you print it out, click on “print entire image” so nothing is cut off.

Such a cute idea. I love all of your doll-sized games. Maybe one day you might consider doing a miniature version of the game Apples to Apples. It is very popular in my area of Texas. I also know a lot of kids who play Yatzee and Solitaire, in case you want more ideas. Thank you so much for sharing. (I wanted to subscribe to your blog, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it since I don’t subscribe to Google+..) So, I guess I’ll just bookmark your page. Thank you very much.

I love this! However, I’m not able to open and print the games. I was successful with the cards though!

I’m not sure what’s going on. I just tried it on two different browsers and it worked for me. What are you using? Maybe try switching to see if it works?
