American Girl Silly Straw

It’s time for another featured guest post!  My good FaceBook friend Kathy has so many cute and creative ideas that I wish I could share them all with you.  Hopefully the ones I miss will get posted on the brag page so you can still see the awesome ideas she comes up with.  This is such a quick and easy fun craft! Seriously, it might take you a total of ten minutes to get everything together, create, and show off!  One of things I like about this craft, is that you can make your American Girl Silly Straw any color and any shape you want!  One loop, two loops, you decide!  I’m sure you can also get it to be different shapes!

Oh my goodness, I just though these would make such fun party favors for the dolls too!

Materials Needed:

1. Weed Eater String
2. Skewer
3. Duct Tape
4. Boiling Water

Step 1:

Wrap the weed eater string around the skewer and duct tape into place.

Step 2:

Dip it into boiling water for two minutes.

Step 3:

Let cool.  Remove any duct tape residue with a wet cloth or wipe.  You’re done!  So cute!
