American Girl Wellie Wishers Garden Party Table & Chairs Set

We are still setting up our new Wellie Wishers collection and we just opened the Garden Party Table & Chairs set which I think is adorable! Yes, it is plastic, but it’s an adorable piece nonetheless. American Girl Dolls will not fit on this set, it is a little too small. Wellie Wishers and American Girl items are not supposed to be interchangeable for the most part anyways. So far, the only thing that will work for both is Carrot and the hutch. We will open up the food items and small accessories soon to see if they work for both doll lines.

**Update: The lady bug and bumble bees are painted garden rocks! So cool! They are game pieces and the vines that are painted on the table top form a tic tac toe board! *We didn’t read the description on American Girl until after the video. ?

I think the lady bugs and bumblebees are used to play tic tac toe on the table. Tic Tac Toe sets generally come with 5 of each player. (It would also be a cute touch if thats what they ment to do with them.)

Oh, the table would make an easy DIY, along with the tic tac toe game and painted rocks! The chairs could be stumps as well, and a better fit for the dolls. Just a thought.? Thanks for sharing! IG: (mscraftsalotsdolls)

Did you notice that the table has a tic tac toe game on it and that that is what the bumblebee and ladybugs are for? It’s so cute! I’m thinking that the bumblebee and ladybugs are supposed to be painted rocks for playing the tic tac toe game, which is why they are a little big to scale. This stuff is so cute! I may have to get a doll, or two.?

I am sorry american girl but WHY!!!??? I think the chairs are too small, as they are supposed to be little kids, not teenagers, so the scale is off. Also, the table looks very flimsy and not at all realistic!!! The chairs are a nice idea, and I like the shapes on them, but they are not at all realistic. I do like the idea behind these dolls, but I think american girl has totally lost their charm on these dolls (sorry american girl).
