American Girl Tenney Grant Visits Nashville
Today I have a fun guest post from a reader. She recently took her Tenney Grant doll with her to Nashville and had an amazing experience visiting places from the books. She shared several pictures of her adventures and I’m so happy to feature them. Check them out below and let us know if you ever take your dolls on adventures!
Recently my parents surprised me by taking me to Nashville for the day! It was one of the most amazing places I have ever been! My doll, Tenney, was so excited to visit her hometown!
We went to the Ryman Auditorium first!
Tenney enjoyed looking at this amazing painting of the outside of the auditorium.
Tenney absolutely loved seeing the stage!She enjoyed learning about the Ryman.She had no idea that at one point the Ryman Auditorium was the Grand Ole Opry House!
These guitars really caught her attention!
Next, we had a picnic in Centennial Park in front of the Parthenon!
Tenney loved the Parthenon! She thought the view was spectacular!
The Parthenon was enormous!
Finally, we saw the Bluebird Cafe mentioned in Tenney’s books!
Back home Tenney enjoys pretending she is performing at the Ryman Auditorium!?

Several of my dolls have had the opportunity to travel with me-one went to Mexico, another to New England and most recently to the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia. Someone will get to go to Ireland with us next year, just not sure who!
