American Girl Rock Candy
I don’t know if there is a feeling of Halloween in the air, or what, but me and my girls have been in a candy making mood lately! Hey, a girl can never tire of candy. Especially if it’s for your American Girl! We got this idea from Hobby Lobby. The girls and I were picking up a few needed craft accessories when we spotted the full size rock candies in the check out lane. Yes, I gave in and they enjoyed them very much when we got home. That got us in creative mode to make our dolls some too!
I have to say, we used regular toothpicks for this project and it turned out good. However, if you have the extra long toothpicks I would recommend those first. We just didn’t have them on hand and I always like to use what’s on hand at the house first.
