Leaks and rumors have been circulating for weeks now, so to be able to put the picture with the rumor is fun! Oh great, you mean American Girl truly ditched the string ties? That is so disappointing and I don’t think I will be buying anymore dolls from them. I just ordered my Life of Faith doll Elsie from Ebay and from now on that is where I will get my American Girl dolls from so I can avoid this accursed zip tie.

I love her, but I’m not a fan of the zip-tie. I do like the animal rights activist/wildlife phorographer aspect to her story. She is very pretty and I like the WWF donation campaign. I just can’t get over the zip-tie! Well, I called the corporate office and I was told the string-ties are going to be a thing of the past! Tacky zip-ties for now on, girls.:( That is just honestly so sad and disturbing to me. The neck strings are an American Girl institution and separates the dolls from the cheaper competition at Michels and Target. I don’t think AG is heading in the right direction!

Lea is ok. I don’t care for her; maybe because I’m not a nature person! ??????????☘??????????? Isabelle and Kanani are still my favorite girl of the year. Has anyone seen the new BeForever, Melody? Her story sounds awesome. They only have her 1st book for sale. I like Lea’s fruit stand and her pajamas are nice but my favorites are her purse for girls and her earrings! I must get her earrings!!!!! They are so adorable!!

Oh. Dear. Got a problem here. ( Miriam, you are NOT going to like Lea. I repeat: NOT!!!… never mind. I’m in love with her already!:))I just got Grace ( I <3 her!!), but I had to promise not to get the next GOTY.:( Crazy commitment! Oh well, I suppose I had to if I was ever going to get Grace. Still, I do have Rebecca ( who surprisingly looks kind of like Lea), so I can still craft this collection like I did for Grace! Then maybe my parents will relent… ( like they did for Grace) :)?

She is AMAZING! Lea is now out on the American Girl website! I am so going to get her! I love how American Girl finally released a girl who loves the rainforest. I just think that is pretty neat. Do you guys like her better than Grace, or no?

I want Lea because her collection reminds me of Kanani’s who is my favorite girl of the year, But I only have the doll Kanani and not a single other thing from her collection. So I am happy of this opportunity… I also do not have very much American Girl items.

It’s official! Grace is no longer available! So sorry for those of you who wanted to get her but never had a chance to ? You are really missing out on the best GOTY Doll! (McKenna is awesome too, of course!) I can’t wait for Lea!!!! She comes out in 9 hours and 30 minutes! I haven’t gotten a catalog yet ? Our mail usually comes around 4:30

Thanks for sharing! I’m glad the rainforest house is less $ than I thought it was going to be, but it looks a bit smaller than I hoped too. The fruit stand is cuter than I expected! I dont know what we’ll decide to get! Guess I’ll have to wait to see it all in person ?

OH. MY!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE HER WHOLE ENTIRE COLLECTION!!!!!!!!!! The doll, Fruit Stand, and Rainforest house stood out to me the most though!!! Lol of course the most expensive items!!! I HAVE to get her!!!!’ I’m not spending ANY money until I get her!!!!

This is so cool! She seems like a beachy girl. I just got back from The American Girl Doll Store in Columbus and got Grace Thomas and I love her. I got her for 84.99 I think.
