American Girl Fashion Show

A few days ago Target had an amazing sale on the Our Generation Outfit Bundles.  They did sell out rather fast, as all good sales do, but I did manage to get two sets.  The regular bundle was only $12 for four outfits and the deluxe set was $15 for four outfits.  I figured that for such a great price, why not push my luck to see if they were worth it.  Well, here they are!  They arrived only a few days after I placed the order.  Once I opened the box and looked at the contents, I was excited to see I got a steal of a deal. Each outfit came with shoes and accessories.  Score!  I thought it would be fun for my American Girl Dolls to put on a little fashion show of the Our Generation outfits.  They fit the American Girl Dolls perfectly.  We only had one pair of shoes where the strap wouldn’t buckle, so I just removed the strap.  Check out the fun we had with our American Girl Fashion Show.

Our Generation Party Starter Outfit.  This outfit is absolutely adorable.  Probably my favorite from the entire set. It includes a white button up top that Velcro’s in the back, a flower print skirt, pink stockings, blue leather open toe soft shoes, a pink snake skin purse, pearl necklace that has a blue ribbon to tie, and a pink flower clip for the hair.  The set together really works.

Our Generation Sharp as a Fox Outfit. What does the fox say? My girls love anything with a fox on it.  I’m sure the fox song had something to do with it.  Their favorite version is of the Minions singing it.  Anyways, this includes a fox shirt, a skirt, a stylish jacket, red hard shoes, and two bracelets.

Our Generation in the Mood for Mod Outfit.  This outfit says I’m ready for the school dance!  It includes a white blouse with two black buttons for looks, a high waist skirt with a busy pattern, a pink shrug, a light pink fuzzy coin purse, soft black shoes with a pink stone, and a pink hairbow to finish the look.  So cute!

Our Generation Purrfect Print.  This set includes a red shirt, a print skirt, black stockings, a blue shrug, a silver belt with a bow, and hard silver shoes.  Such a great combination.

Our Generation Animal Motif Dress.  Here is another outfit that I didn’t like just by looking at the box.  But, once I again I was proved wrong.  The bird dress is stylish.  It includes, the dress which is bunched at the waist, red stockings, gray hard shoes, and a blue zipper jacket.  This outfit didn’t come with a purse, jewelry, or a hair clip.  Bummer.

Our Generation Boho Beauty.  Purple is my favorite color.  So, seeing this outfit in the set really made me happy.  It comes with a purple polka dot dress with an attached shrug, a cute brown belt, a matching over the shoulder purse, hard purple shoes, and a bit lacy bow.  The perfect blend!

Our Generation Winter Wonderland Outfit.  This easy outfit is sure to keep your doll warm in the cold!  It includes a lacy pink coat with a black collar, high knee socks, soft black shoes that have a strap with a little bow, a snake skin coin purse, and an adorable rhinestone headband.  The only issue I had with this outfit is that the shoe straps would not fit over my American Girl Doll.  I had to just take the straps off.Other than that, it works!

Our Generation A Night of Fancy Outfit.  When I first looked at this outfit in the picture I wasn’t quite sure about it.  I didn’t love it.  I can say after opening it and having Isabelle model it in our American Girl Fashion Show, I absolutely adore it!  It includes a light pink sleeveless dress, a cheetah shrug, a beaded bracelet, a gold hairbow, a purse with a big bow on it, and soft gold shoes.  The shoes are very similar to Isabelle’s meet shoes except they are soft.  The soft shoes are little harder to out on the dolls.  Also, the purse comes with a long shoulder strap, but I tucked the strap into the purse because I liked it as a handbag.  CUTE!

 I let the dolls stay out all night so my daughter could see the new outfits, and look who joined them!  It’s Casper our family elf!  Such a silly elf.
