I have been making an entire bedroom just for Grace Thomas. When she joins our doll family, she will be able to enjoy having her own space. Since her bed is done, the dresser was next. I grabbed a cute wooden dresser from Hobby Lobby. I sanded it down until it was completely smooth, and then painted it the same color I painted the bed. I left the front of the drawers bare so I could add something else to them. I found this cute scrapbook paper at Hobby Lobby that totally gave off the Grace Thomas vibe. She has a sweater that is so similar to this paper, so I thought it was a perfect match. I can’t wait to bring home her accessories and put them away!
Don’t worry if you aren’t making a room for Grace, they have several scrapbook paper options to choose from. That way if you want to make a generic one for your dolls, you can. Check out my step by step photos below.

WOW..you are so creative! I can learn so much from you!
Can you tell me the dimensions of this dresser? So pretty!
Wow! So pretty i love the design that’s on the dresser you are so creative to think of that. I LOVE it !!!!!!!!!
How much was the dresser?
I was wondering if you could link us to the dresser on hobbylobby.com or perhaps give a few more details regarding it so that we may go find it ourselves? Thanks for sharing such a creative DIY!
This is such a cute idea.
I love how something as simple as some scrapbook paper can make such a difference! Very cute!
All your posts/ideas are amazing! I picked up the chair (actually two!) and candle holder to diy the bistro set, but couldn’t find this at hobby lobby. What department was it in?
It is over by the wooden crafts. The wooden letters, wooden dowels, wooden candle sticks, jewelry boxes and more. Let me know when you find it!
