American Girl Sewing Machine
American Girl Sewing Machine
This American Girl Sewing Machine was such a fun craft. My daughter and I actually made a few of them. I wanted a plain Jane one, and she wanted a vibrant one with a lot of details and spunk. Hey, she has her taste and I have mine right?!
This idea came from a little stroll I took in Michaels. I can’t remember what I went in the store for, but I came out with this awesome idea for an American Girl Sewing Machine. I found the Whittlers Kit in the wood section of Michaels and instantly started to brainstorm. I knew I would have to take it home and open it before I could piece it together completely.
This craft was extremely easy. The hardest part was being patient will the paint and glue dried!

Hi Rudy!
I’m so happy to see that you were able to make a sewing machine. Similar plans were posted on my blog in 2010, and can be found here: http://piecesforreese.blogspot.com/search/label/sewing%20machine
I also love what you’ve done with Grace’s Bakery! VERY inspirational for those of us in the “doll crafting world”! Thank you for posting them! :))
