American Girl Monopoly
American Girl Monopoly
Before I get into the American Girl Monopoly game, I want to share a new addition in my craft room. A Purple Cow Laminator! I have been wanting one for a long time but I’ve just never looked at getting one. I do so many crafts where I use packaging tape to preserve the printables that it just makes sense to have one. Anyways, I didn’t actually get the laminator, my amazing husband surprised me with it for my birthday! Yay! I am so thrilled to use it on this craft first! Please ask any questions you have about it and I will share my personal experience with how it works. I have so many things planned for it!
Back to American Girl Monopoly. This game was first requested last year! I have finally gotten to it and I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Looking at it and playing with it, I wish I had done it sooner! There are a few things that I did not have on hand and I had to go to Michael’s to get them. Those things included the charms and wooden blocks for houses and hotels. I had a few charms on hand, but I wanted to get a few more charms to represent the dolls who were playing with them. Does that make sense? I also already had the dice on hand, I got those from Hobby Lobby a long time ago. You can also make your own American Girl Monopoly Pieces by going HERE!
Materials Needed:
- American Girl Monopoly Game Printables
- Monopoly Game Box Printables
- Clear Packaging Tape (I used my new Purple Cow Laminator)
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
- Small Wooden Blocks
- Dice Jewelry Beads
- Jewelry Charms (We picked out specific charms for each of our dolls. Ex. Grace is an Eiffel Tower of course!)
