American Girl Doll Makeup Eyeshadow Craft

DIY doll makeup is probably one of the most requested crafts. Even though we’ve made several versions, there’s always a new one to try! This is a simple craft that doesn’t take a lot of time. You should be able to find most of the materials around the house. If not, improvise!

Materials Needed:

  • Recycled Paperboard (cereal box)
  • Glue
  • Paint, Puffy Paint or Glitter
  • Reflective Paper
  • Scrapbook Paper *optional
  • Hole Punch

Watch and tell us what other makeup items your doll needs in her collection!

hey, Rudy! Love your work. I was wondering if you had time to figure out a set of pots and pans, and maybe cutlery. I made makeshift of a kitchen, and have no things to cook with. ? Could you help me out?

    Thank you!

Adorable! I think I’m going to get a unicorn wig.? I just have a few questions about them. Do the wigs fall off easily, and how hard is it to style? Do you care for the wigs the same way you would for regular AG doll hair? And lastly, do the wigs stay nice like AG doll hair? Thanks for your time!

In my experience so far, they are easier to maintain than AG hair. They tangle a lot less if ever. They are pretty snug on the dolls. If you want them to be permanent you can glue them on.
