American Girl DIY Fruit Roll-Ups Craft

When we made the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with puffy paint, a light bulb clicked for another craft. We could use the puffy paint for Fruit Roll-Ups! The puffy paint dries perfectly to look just like real fruit roll ups. And, the girls made puffy paint bracelets a few weeks ago so we knew it would peel off of the parchment paper with no problem. We made some printables just in case you want to add these to your doll’s pantry or grocery store. We hope your dolls enjoy their Fruit Roll-Ups and Fruit by the Foot candy:)

Materials Needed:

• Puffy Paint
• Parchment Paper
• Fruit Roll Up Printables

TIPS:

• You can make your own puffy paint with mod podge (or glue), paint and shaving cream. You can also leave out the shaving cream, it will just be a little less puffy.
• Instead of making strips like I did in the video, you can make one large rectangle and once it dries cut it into strips.
