Confession. There is a pile of K-Cups beside my kitchen sink that I have used, cleaned and set aside. For what, I was unsure of, until today. After school my kids dropped their back packs, grabbed their scooters, and headed outside for some play and exercise. Just a few minutes after they closed the door behind them, my lovely daughter came to me with some freshly picked yard flowers. She stuck a couple in her hair and in my hair. She laid several on the counter and I asked her what she was going to do with the rest. She told me that she wanted me to put them in a vase and display them on the counter. I told her that was a lovely idea, however they were just too small for that. And then we both looked at each and had that gasp ah ha moment together. THE DOLLS! Yes, of course, we can use them for the dolls to have fresh cut flowers! How fun! We did not have to look far for something to put them in as my cleaned out k-cups were still right beside the kitchen sink. Score! Once again, this is such an easy craft and a young girl can make it her own with stickers, markers, paint, whatever she can think of!!

What a neat idea. Thanks for sharing. With easter coming up maybe I can turn the K-cup into a Easter basket for her American doll.

That’s so cute. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I’m sure I could bum some off a friend. :). I’m thinking the k-cups could be used for a lampshade or ceiling light. (more for a Barbie-size doll as opposed to American Girl)
