My daughter loves flipping through the American Girl magazines. I’m sure all little girls do. I’ll even admit I love flipping through them. Even the ones I got a long time ago when I was a little girl are still fun and interesting! Since I have been doing more and more American Girl crafts with my daughter, when she flips through them she is looking for items to replicate. Instead of asking me to buy her something, she is asking if there is a new craft we can do together! I love this time with her. Sometimes I have to put in a little more work than her, but she gets the enjoyment and for the most part my wallet stays shut! I hope you enjoy these craft replicas as much as we do.
This time my daughter picked out Isabelle’s Studio Stool. We are doing small things to create it. We first made the American Girl Sewing Machine and this time we are making Isabelle’s Upholstered Stool.
Materials Needed:
- Scissors
- Empty Container with Lid (I used a soup container. Substitutions can be sour cream, cottage cheese, nuts, any container)
