A Bed For Grace Thomas

My daughter (7 years old) was so excited to get Grace this year for her birthday because she also loves to help cook dinner & bake. She really wanted a special place for Grace to sleep, so with a little help from Her Daddy (we needed some help with the power tools), we built Grace a bed. We used Ana White’s farmhouse bed plans which we found online for free! We bought the lumber & supplies needed per the instructions on the plans at Home Depot. We also made the bedding! My Daughter spent about an hour at Joann Fabrics picking just the right fabrics. My daughter sewed the pillows & mattress on her own, with her own sewing machine, while I made the quilt.
