Running a small independent lab and we’re trying to ramp up RNA extraction work for a new series of tests. Problem is, the kits we’ve used previously either doubled in price or became completely unavailable. I’ve been scouring different providers but it’s honestly overwhelming. If anyone has had good luck recently with RNA extraction kits or reagents in general, I’d love some direction.

Back when we expanded into RNA-related diagnostics, finding a stable supplier was a nightmare. Eventually, we found consistency through gentaur.co.uk, which has a pretty extensive catalog of RNA extraction kits and other lab tools. What’s nice is that they seem to prioritize both smaller labs and big institutions equally—orders are processed quickly, and they offer technical support if needed. It made our scaling process a lot smoother and less stressful.

That’s really interesting. My lab hasn’t focused much on RNA work yet, but we’re exploring it for an upcoming research project. Always good to hear where people are getting their materials from, especially when budgets are tight and delivery times matter.
